My scanner is on the fritz so I had to take a picture of my drawing.
OC Profile for The Book of Stories Original Character Tournament.
Name: Eulalia Agnes Emory
Physical Description: 5'7" with a thin and willowy build, ice blue eyes, and shoulder length blonde hair that's usually pulled back.
Chosen by: Lady Ink
Gift Description: Circle Construct
Personality: Serious and rather grim to a fault, she can't remember the last time she truly and genuinely smiled. Calculating, she has a frigid and exacting mind when it comes to anything and everything, but especially with love and other matters of the heart. She's a realist.
History: Eulalia grew up in a rather placid and prosperous time period for her country. Her family was well off, had a nice house with a white picket fence, and nothing much troubled them. Then the bombs fell. A neighboring northern country declared war upon theirs. Eulalia was fifteen years old at the time.
She had always been a serious child, which was marked by loved ones and friends as either eerie or an odd quirk. And now with war tearing through her homeland that seriousness turned into grim determination. Now in her teens, she delved into her education and studies with a certain ferocity. Quick thinking and intelligent, she had an all encompassing desire for knowledge. But that desire was not born from curiosity but a clinical sense of responsibility. It was something that had to be done.
At age eighteen Eulalia graduated at the top of her class. It was a hollow victory though. Her graduating class small, as the majority of the young men and women had been drafted to join the warfront. In those three years that had passed most of her country was in devastation. Due to the bombs that had fallen all those years ago, the dirt and debris they kicked up had plunged much of the country into an unnatural winter. In this winter the war raged on between the two countries.
Eventually, due to her exacting mind and aptitude in the subject, Eulalia was conscripted by the military as an on field nurse. And that is where our tale begins.
